Points to make:
- Money is saved by purchasing an energy efficient processor (65w). If you’re looking for a bit more juice go with an AMD Phenom Quad-core AM3 Processor, but that will run you upwards of $50 bucks more. Make sure to get a processor with only 95w power consumption due to PSU limitations.
- Amazing single slot solution video card by XFX really turns this HTPC build into a low-mid range gaming rig.
- Optical drive might be required for game installation/loading operating system. ASUS makes a great economical drive for under $25 bucks. Keep in mind most games are now available via digital download.
